About:

Nacho is an outgoing, calm and affectionate boy! He spent most of his adult years as an outdoor cat and he is now loving the warmth and safety of being an indoor kitty! He does great with respectful pups and with other cats. He loves spending his day napping on cozy beds, lounging on his cat tower and looking out windows.

Nacho loves attention, but on his own terms. He does get easily overstimulated and will gently nip or paw at you if he is not in the mood for pets. When he is in a lovey mood, he enjoys handing out kisses and cuddling up in your lap. He would do great in almost any household, although he must be watched with small children due to his sassy behavior at times. He is also quite the vocal boy when he wants something or doesn’t like something (AKA having to go in his cat carrier). You definitely won’t have a hard time telling when he is unhappy!

Came into rescue:

Nacho was an outdoor kitty who resided on the property of an adult group home. A few of the residents would take care of him daily, spending their weekly allowance on his food and toys. They also made him an outdoor tupperware shelter with straw. After 2 years of residing on this property, the property owner said that he had to go. They threw his shelter away and left him out in the cold, during a very bad snow storm. We received a distressing call from one of the resident’s family members and of course had to rush to get him! Shortly after picking him up, we noticed he was neutered and he must’ve been someone’s pet at one point. We are unsure what lead to him becoming an outdoor kitty in the first place.
