Our Adoption Process

• Adoption Application

Submit completed application to our email- cccrescueandsanctuary@gmail.com. Please note, applications take 24-72 hours to process. Following application approval, we will reach out to set up a meeting. If renting, please ensure you have landlord approval. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Certain animals do have adoption requirements- these are listed in their individual bio.

• Meet and Greet

Meet and greets take place at our location- 1700 Granger Rd Ortonville. Meetings are by appointment only. Please note, we require all other household dogs to be present during dog adoptions.

• Adoption Fees

  Fees vary- Dogs ($250-300), Cats ($150). We currently accept cash, check, venmo or online card payments.

• Adoption Agreement

Sign your pet’s adoption contract and make things official! After a successful meet and greet, you can take your new baby home directly following! All of our animals go home with their up-to-date vet records and a small goodie bag (treats, transition food and toys) to help them adjust to their new home. Please note, we do require a secure cat carrier to be brought to cat adoptions.

• After Adoption

  We are here if you ever have any questions or concerns! We love seeing updates on everyone with their forever families! Don’t forget we provide discounted pet sitting services to all of our adopted animals. Please be sure to abide by your signed adoption agreement. We do require our animals to be returned to us in the event things don’t work out- no exceptions.
